Todays class was good.  We went over our projects so far.  I think I understand better what the different ways to use colours. We then worked on them to organize them and label them properly. We also made any adjustments that needed to be made.  We talked about our next project.  It looks like it could be fun if I can think creatively. This class has been fun as I expected it to be.  Can’t believe that there are only 3 classes left.

This project was interesting.  I found it fun and challenging to challenge my thoughts on how you see something.  I really would like to make more of these, but as life is showing me right now I don’t really have time to do more practice.  Hopefully over winter break I will be able to play with it more.  Here is my project that I did.

This was a project that we did in class.  It was actually fun to do this one.  I have always liked colour and been told I had an eye for it.  I think that it turned out ok.  It was the first time for me really seeing how colour works in Illustrator.  It is going to be interesting to see how the computer changes things slightly from actual paint.  This will take practice more.  Which right now I seem to be majorly laking in.  I am not even able to get time to get the sleep that I need as my schedule is right now.  Here is what my blending looked like done in Illustrator.  It is clear that I really need to do work on the brighter blender.

Class was fun.  My son had off from school so he came with me.  We were making the colour wheel in Illustrator.  It was much harder to make this way then when I had done it by hand before in college.  It really showed me how much the computer can change the colours.  It did help me learn how illustrator wrks with colour.  I had a slight issue with fixing one set of colours and my son (who also did the class work) had to come and help me.  It all came so easy to him.  It was amazing as a parent to see your child actually light up as he was learning something.  This next project I am interested to see how it turns out for everyone.  It is working with colour on a project that we have done previously in black and white.

Class was good.  We did gradation things. It was fun to learn how to do this on a computer.  It made me miss working with colour, but not enough to go back to Interior Design I don’t think.  I am looking forward to next class because my son will be coming with me.  He is so excited to see what it is like to go to a college class.

This class I unfortunately forgot to blog about after class or within a decent time and I don’t remember what we did.  I hate how this feels.  Life just gets busy and I have to accept that and learn from it.

This rotation project was a good way to shut my brain off.  It actually turned out to be a harder then I thought it would be to come up with 100 different ways to do this.  I found myself really exploring and trying different things. I am thinking that this was the main point in this project to explore and get used to the different ways that you can do things in Illustrator.  I was really surprised at how interesting some of the rotations came out.  Especially with what I started with.  At one point I gave up and just drew random things. They actually turned out really well I think.

Class today was good.  Our professor wasn’t feeling well. 😦   We spent most of the class time working on our rotation projects.  It was nice to walk around and see what everyone else had done.  I don’t really have much to say about this class period.

This project was fun to explore with.  We started to work on this is class and I managed to make 2 in class.  I worked on my third one at home during the week.  I found them to be fun and relaxing to make.  This was the 1st project that I found even a thought of turning my brain off and just letting my artsy side come out.  Here are my 3 repetition projects.
